Overview

Based in Boise, Idaho, our Addiction Medicine Fellowship is a 12 month program that can be completed full-time over one calendar year or part-time over two years, while still working in the trainee's primary specialty.  The fellowship strives to provide a unique and collaborative approach to education in the diagnosis and treatment of substance use disorders through a variety of inpatient, outpatient, and residential treatment programs that will prepare trainees to provide an evidence-based and multi-disciplinary approach to the field of Addiction Medicine.

The program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education  ACGME-Accredited Fellowship and is one of two University of Washington Addiction Medicine Fellowships.
