We start accepting applications via ERAS in June for the following academic year. We invite those who would like more information before submitting an application to reach out to us. We will consider part-time applicants through the match.

Application

Applicants will be asked to provide the following application materials:

  • Personal Statement: Please describe your career aspirations, how you envision the fellowship will support those aspirations, and any special qualifications you want to highlight.
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • A total of three (3) Letters of Recommendation: One (1) from Residency Program Director and two (2) from faculty or professional staff from medical school/residency hospitals.

Application Process

The UW Boise Addiction Medicine Fellowship is currently accepting applications for 2027-2028 Academic Year and will be participating in the national Match for AY 2027-2028. Academic year 2027-2028 interviews will be conducted virtually in the Fall of 2026.  We do review applications as they come in and encourage submitting application materials sooner rather than later.

Successful applicants will be employed by University of Washington under the terms outlined in the CIR NW Contract.
