OVerview
Based in Boise, Idaho, our Addiction Medicine Fellowship is a 12 month program that can be completed full-time over one calendar year or part-time over two years, while still working in the trainee's primary specialty. The fellowship strives to provide a unique and collaborative approach to education in the diagnosis and treatment of substance use disorders through a variety of inpatient, outpatient, and residential treatment programs that will prepare trainees to provide an evidence-based and multi-disciplinary approach to the field of Addiction Medicine.
Applications
Applications for the 2027-2028 Academic Year will be accepted only through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) starting July 2026.
We will send interview invitations in a rolling manner beginning August 2026. Please apply no later than August 31, 2026, to ensure we have sufficient time to consider your application thoroughly. We anticipate sending the last interview invitations by mid-September.
All fellowship positions will be filled through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP).
Interviews
We will interview applicants beginning August 24, 2026 through September 3, 2026.
